When buying an existing property (resale), the contract runs on the Dubai Land Department’s unified real estate contracts, mandatory since 1 May 2014 (source: Dubai Land Department). Form F is the one between seller and buyer, alongside Form A (seller-broker) and Form B (buyer-broker).

Form F sets the price, deposit, deadlines and each side’s obligations, and is created and signed through the DLD eMart portal. In practice it is often called the MOU. It is the basis on which the developer NOC is then obtained and the ownership transfer completed at the DLD.

For a buyer, Form F brings certainty to a resale and guards against conflicting side agreements because the contract is standardised. Price, deposit and handover deadline apply once signed.
